Instagram was purchased by Facebook in 2012 for one billion dollars. Instagram has devoted themselves by blocking and not allowing any inappropriate content. For example, they will not permit any violence, graphic or anything shocking and sexually suggestive. I believe they do a good job when it comes down to censoring things that are not appropriate. I personally have not seen any inappropriate content or images. I like that the fact that Instagram gives you notifications when someone is trying to send you a message. It also notifies you when unknown requests are sent and aren’t marked as seen to them until you accept them. I believe Instagram has done a good job with one’s privacy and censoring inappropriate content.
