Twitter was created by Jack Dorsey. Odeo is Twitter's parent company. Twitter has implemented a lot of restrictions as it relates to posted content, and has began a censorship process that many find to be inconsistent. The bigger issue with them censoring content is it seems to be subjective rather than objective. What if an individual that Twitter has employed to handle censoring content has a bias towards a certain group? Then it's likely that person will censor comments and threads based on the Twitter employees bias. I saw a comment just the other day that wasn't derogatory or misleading and it had been flagged by Twitter's censorship team. There's going to be some give and take with any censorship attempts, but you would like a company to have a consistent process to identify what content truly needs to be censored.
