Blog Post #10: Glassdoor Company Review

For this social media review, I choose Quora. Quora is a social media site where you can ask questions and people answers them based on their knowledge and opinions. The working conditions for Quora according to the reviews seem to be great as they have an average of 4.1 out of 5 stars in their review. The reviews state that Quora has very humble and full of nice people environment. In addition, one of the other most common reviews about Quora is that they work with very knowledgeable people. This makes sense as it’s social media where people ask questions, thus knowledge is built upon that principle. Furthermore, one of the specific jobs in Quora that I looked into was Art and Design. Some of the common reviews about art and design were that Quora was a great place to improve their skills as a Designer. People from this department also commented that they feel good for knowing that their work serves a positive contribution to the world. Overall, all, Quora seems to be pretty okay, however, some of the cons that generally appear across the board are those based on team-based work. Mostly all con comments suggest about Quora com from Manager/ direction, unstaffed teams, change of teams, and  General team abase issues. However, a few also wrote that there were no cons on the cons section, something that I did expect in a positive way. With this in mind, the working conditions of Quora seem to be pretty good as it is highly reviewed and is a friendly, humble, and knowable environment, like any other company there a few cons but overall Quora seems like a good company to work at.
