One of the major benefits of being able to measure media is knowing what type of interactions you're getting. Being able to see why products are or are not selling and being able to study analytics so you can improve for the future. Unfortunately, one challenge that comes along with measuring social media is that since people like to cheat and scam the measurements are not always accurate representations of reality. Research has show that these large corporations, sell peoples private info. For example the Facebook scandal that happened a while back, with the giving away their users info. Nevertheless, we as a people do not normally read the fine print or terms and conditions therefore we end up looking dumbfounded when something unexpected happens.
