Destiny's Week 2 Blog Post

 I define social media as a digital platform that people around the world use to connect with others, view any type of content for entertainment, and to stay informed. A site that we "traditionally" do not consider social media but that I would include in that category would be Reddit. What makes Reddit social is that the users can upload their own content just like other social media platforms to engage with other users. The exclusion of some media sources say about our understanding of social media that we only consider certain apps part of this group if we like how they operate.
