Working Conditions in Media Company

So the company that I decided to research on glass door was Google. There has been so much prestigious and elite culture to come from this company enough to combat the culture of the Apple company and its very idealistic and progressive work environment and business practices. I believe that movies like the social network and the internship are ways that these companies use broad marketing strategies in order to give the public a different perception and a look inside the company and let them see that they are not just a soulless corporate entity but a brand that care about education and its people. I went on glassdoor and saw that for the most part the overwhelming majority of people who got a chance to be interviewed at google were very grateful for getting a chance to visit the headquarters, and to be a part of a movement that is projected to grow its audience and its staff. There are some negative reviews saying that many people at the company are very egotistical and rude, while other who worked for the company said that they had no complaints and didn't have anything bad to say about the company at all. Even in bad reviews no one states that the working conditions aren't up to par and that most of the problems really stem from bad management to a poor work/life balance.  The overall research I did shows that there are always 2 sides to everyone story and that some people will have amazing life changing experiences while others will have unforgettably bad ones. But looking at the majority of comments and reviews that real users have given really gives  an accurate representation of what working at Google is like.
