Twitter

 The site I chose for this assignment is Twitter. I chose Twitter because this is my most used app. The app was founded in 2006 and is owned by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Noah Glass, and Biz Stone. The parent company is Odeo. This is where Jack Dorsey met his future Twitter cofounders. Odeo went out of business in 2006 leading Dorsey to create Twitter. For me Twitter is the only app where I find out news quickly. Many people on the app voice their thoughts on any subject. Like any other app a tweet can be reported and taken down. However, I feel that Twitter is not as strict on the content people post. For example, on Instagram I do not see as many app violations post. I feel that Twitter should censor more hate speech tweets.
