I chose to analyze Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter account. As I scrolled through her feed, I noticed she keeps tweets concise, but the content and message in them are powerful. Based on Cortez’s tweets, I know she strives to represent women, bring awareness to issues, and is advocating to make a change in our systems. Also, the tone of her words defined her as a woman who is not intimidated to voice her viewpoints. Similarly, Bruno Mars’s Twitter account and tweets show he designates time to interact with his fans, self-promote songs, and shares his concern about racial brutality by retweeting posts.
