Social Media Defined by Me

 Social Media to me is the is the interaction between people in a digital forum or messaging setting. People seem to view social media as being this huge platform in which the whole world can see what you’re up too, but it can also be a very restricted space where a small community can thrive. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat are huge social media platforms that come to mind, but I don’t think these platforms define what social media is, but I do believe they give a good outline of what social media can be. Ideas, content, and news stories presented to a large or small group through a digital space is really what social media is.
