pre web vs now

Back then one would have to rely on something called floppy disks to back up their data or any files. From what I recall, the floppy disks I saw at my house has a massive 1.44mb of space, I know, Massive. But as technology advanced, so did storage demands, and so after the floppy disks then came USB 1.0  drives. But even in today's standards, that's caveman technology because everything is digital today, leading to the 21st century's version of storage. Cloud storage has become the most convenient way to store pictures, files, and videos to the point that services like iCloud and google drive are extremely common on smartphones. Against floppy disks and USB drives, cloud storage is the way to go.
