            Many people want to be political, but aren’t politicians and do not have the knowledge or the accolades to back up their position. In this day and age you see many politicians trying to reach the younger generation by being on social media posting a lot, saying things that your stereotypical politician would not necessarily say. For example, our President Donald Trump tweets many different things. A lot of which shape and some might say tarnish his image. Words like “these thugs are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen.” Placing blame, calling people out their names, judging others is not indicative behavior of what a President should be. If you are in office you should use your platform to promote, inform, and for the benefit of others. I understand that he is a person too, but if you are an elected official or a government employee you should be held to a higher standard. On the contrary Cardi B is a famous female rapper who uses the platform that she has to help people understand what is going on in politics. She had endorsed various people because of what they stand for and even tweeted that she wanted to be a politician and she loves government even though she doesn’t agree with it.
