A couple years ago I joined an Instagram group chat. This group chat was apart of a fan community for a music artist named Joji. I was introduced to this community through a comment section on one of the artist post. Within this group chat, we initially discussed new music that would get released and other non-related memes. Eventually, the mini-community grew to around 10 people and it was very lively. The community was thriving for about a year before it began to change. Unfortunately, many of the most active members began to leave and the community began to die. Thankfully Instagram has many users that are able to be connected by similar interests. It didn't take long for me to find an Instagram page to follow and interact with.
