Introduction

 Hello class! My name is Lee Walker, I’m a senior here at UNT Dallas. I’m a Political Science major and a Sociology Minor. I live in North Fort Worth, Texas and my family is based in New York and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I took this course because I’m a great writer with a lot of ideas to express. I would love to convey complex ideas of race and class struggle to a larger audience and help people have tough conversations about race and class in America. But the problem is, people do not like to read long essays and journals these days. Bite sized and digestible forms of information like YouTube videos, info-graphics, and other social media devices are important to learn. I’m excited to learn new things and apply my skills to a new format.
