I am in multiple groups on Facebook. Some of my favorite Facebook groups that I participate in are on gardening, food/recipes, and various fandoms. The gardening groups are where we post pictures of our plants, ask questions that we may have, or selling different products. I am also in a food group where we post pictures/recipes of food we are making throughout the day. We can ask for food recommendations or share a "Tasty" food video. I like posting to these groups specifically instead of posting on my timeline; you're sharing content with others that enjoy and are looking for that content. I consider each a community, everyone contributing content: a comment, alike, a view. We start to get to know everyone in the group and contribute more to the people that we interact with daily. I don't go on my timeline on Facebook anymore and mostly go through my various groups' posts. I think they are helpful for everyone to find a community online on a topic that you enjoy. It is even more imperative that we find people to connect with now that we are so isolated during the pandemic.
